MITCH’S BIOGRAPHY
Mitch enjoys fostering innovation, learning, and social change. He has developed multiple multi-million dollar social-benefit organizations and has a history of success in strategy, fundraising, social ROI, program implementation, and leadership development. His lifelong pursuit to promote individual empowerment and reduce multi-generational poverty has recently led him to the education sector. Mitch has master’s degrees in international management (MIM), entrepreneurial management (MBA), and elementary education (MAT). He also has a doctorate of education (EDD) in the field of educational psychology of technology (EPT) with an emphasis on social-emotional learning and technology.
He is currently pursuing primary research at the intersection of emotional intelligence, assessments, and technology. He is interested in developing better learning and development strategies, increasing healthy engagement strategies, and instructional design and technology. Together he seeks to find better ways to develop individuals, teams, and organizations through change and innovation. He stays active by serving on community boards and councils, running, playing tennis and volleyball, and developing SEL resources. He has a son that he adores. Together they actively explore learning, sports, adventure, cooking, and most importantly – outrageous laughter.
