Full Description:

Tes Teach is a tool that is used for collecting and bundling information for a multitude of uses. The goal of Tes Teach is to enable teachers to “blend” multimedia seamlessly into the classroom in an efficient and effective way.
It is essentially works by allowing the user to bundle information from a myriad of resources (including but not limited to): Google, Google Drive, DropBox, OpenEd, Gooru, YouTube, files from your own computer, and much more! Tes Teach means of creating virtual notebooks, but much easier to use than its counterpart LiveBinders.com. It has a very simple, “drag and drop” or insert type of interface that makes pooling together resources very
efficient. All the user has to do is lick on “new lesson”, name the lesson, and begin inserting and sequencing resources in the “tile” spaces.

Advantage/ Disadvantage:

Using TES Teach you can create interactive lessons with your own content as well as any content from the web. Students can also use TES Teach to create their own lessons and presentations as a way to showcase their understanding of a particular topic. Design is great, and the option to create lessons that students can view at home is a bonus. It focuses mostly on delivering content; there could be more room for interactivity. It allows you to incorporate lots of multimedia resources but can still be confusing for students.


Good for Teaching:

With Tes Teach, the lessons can then be shared with students via a unique link, Google Classroom, Facebook, Twitter, email, QR code, or embed the lesson on your own website. So many options to make this platform work for you and your students! The lesson itself is almost like a playlist where students can navigate in the order as designed or select parts of the lesson to do. They can also use TES Teach to create presentations and other projects.

Good for Learning:

Having a way to create a lesson with content that‘s the same for all students but differentiated in assessment or reading content or something along those lines would be a huge benefit. Once you‘re done building your lesson, you can send it out to your students and there are quite a few of great ways get your lessons out. You can also collaborate with other teachers/colleagues/students which is an awesome feature. Plus, the ability to embed this lesson on the web is great if you have a classroom website or blog. When a student gets the lesson, they‘ll be able to see the resources you shared and take any quizzes you created. They‘ll also be able to add comments to any of the resources, so you can engage in a discussion with your students around your content which is nice as well.
